You can also see Jim beaming with pride over his girl and this is the common bond that saw them get married in Dark Nights: Death Metal. Sure, they've had solid relationships outside of each other but their journey started together, fighting for innocent people who couldn't defend themselves, and it's why ardent fans want to see them get a happy ending together in DC's main continuity.
