Allaudin Merali, the former health executive who landed in controversy for a history of billing lavish expenses to Alberta taxpayers, has found new work as a consultant for Covenant Health. The health agency is currently without a permanent chief financial officer, which is one of the main reasons Merali was brought in to consult, a spokeswoman added.
